Could you ever look into the eyes of a hungry child, see their need, know you could meet their need, and then walk away and do nothing? We couldn't either!
HopeAlive268 has been supporting 32 orphans, ranging from the ages of birth to five years of age, since we came back from Swaziland in October. We send money monthly to cover the cost of food which gives them one meal and a Bible story each day. That number has jumped to 38 in the past month and looks to be rising in the coming months as word spreads that Siteki is a stable care point thanks to the generosity of people like YOU.
Did you know that it snowed in South Africa recently? It's winter in Swaziland and it is bitterly cold, especially at night. We recently received an urgent request for blankets for our orphans. Some are traveling up to three hours on foot daily to eat… only to head back
three more hours to a village that is familiar. They are sleeping under trees and huddling together beneath bushes for warmth. We began to pray and God, in twenty minutes, provided the funds to purchase 40 blankets!!! Blankets have been purchased and disbursed amongst our precious children thanks to the generosity of people like YOU.
HopeAlive268 is currently working hard to meet every need of our 38 orphans. We are feeding them and providing them with warmth but we also seek to clothe them as well. We are currently making pillowcase dresses for the girls and drawstring shorts for the boys. We are clothing them thanks to the generosity of people like YOU.
Doors are opening, needs are being met, the Gospel is being preached and it's all being done because of the generosity of people like YOU.
